The emphasis is on practical work and the development of your own portfolio. Throughout the course, you will have opportunities to work alongside professional artists and designers to give you a greater understanding of the creative industries.
The course will introduce you to new concepts and ways of working with art and will allow you to explore and gain confidence to express your own ideas. You will also learn about the role art has played in history and in society today through visits to galleries, working with practising artists and your own independent research.
A number of specifications will be changing and prospectus entries are based on information we have to date. This means that course content may be subject to change.
