Overview
This qualification is aimed at people working in a wide range of sub-sectors of the financial services industry.
It is designed to offer learners the flexibility to show their achievements without taking the full level 2 Certificate in Providing Financial Services.
This Apprenticeship is working within the financial services sector either in General Insurance or Mortgage or Financial AdministrationYou will learn what is needed to work within your specific financial services environment complying with important regulations and gain a nationally recognised professional qualification

NVQ Certificate in Providing Financial Services Level 2 allows an individual to learn and gain a nationally recognised qualification. National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ) are designed to meet the standards set by industry in occupational areas. They cover various aspects of a job or area of work, assessing skills actually used in the workplace.
The Technical Certificate develops knowledge and skills which can be adapted to a work setting. Functional Skills are the skills which are most commonly needed to succeed in a range of activities, learning to use and adapt communication and number skills in a range of settings and contexts. Personal Learning and Thinking Skills are assessed throughout the programme.

• Mortgage and/or Financial Administration
All pathways include the following:
Certificate in Providing Financial Services Level 2 (NVQ)
Certificate in Customer Service (Technical Certificate) or equivalent
Functional Skills Maths at Level 1
Functional Skills English at Level 2
Employment Right and Responsibilities Workbook
Personal Learning and Thinking Skills
To include Technical Certificate optional choice:
• FA1 Life office administration, or
• CF1 UK Financial Services, regulations and ethics
• IF1 Insurance, legal and regulatory
• CeMap1 IFS Certificate in Mortgage Advice and practice
How will it be delivered?
The NVQ assesses individuals by observation in the workplace, by completing a portfolio of evidence or E-Portfolio and by completing a variety of assignments. Technical examinations are taken at local test centres that are based up and down the country.
Entry requirements
No formal qualifications are required but individuals should be enthusiastic, motivated, reliable and prepared to work hard. Good communication skills are essential and it is important to be understanding and show respect for others. Good grades in GC
