increasingly important for us all to
be aware of people’s religious beliefs
and to understand how they shape
people’s attitudes and lifestyles.
You will study Christianity and Islam. You
will learn about aspects of their beliefs,
practices and ethics and will develop
your own skills of analysis and evaluation
to reflect on key religious debates
Grade 5 in English. Grade 4 in Religious Studies (if taken).
This course could lead you onto higher education to study Theology or Religious Studies.
With further training, you could go into a job related to Religious issues and Theology such as a Social Worker, Charity Officer, Counsellor or Teacher.
It is especially useful for anyone interested in working with or understanding people, e.g. medicine, nursing and healthcare, social work, teaching, law, journalism, etc.
