You will study:
Employment, Rights and Responsibilities (ERR) Booklet
Level 2 Functional Skills in English and maths
Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS)
You will study all of the mandatory units listed below:
Mandatory Units
Bookkeeping transactions; understanding the double entry bookkeeping system
Bookkeeping controls; using control accounts and journals and understanding the banking process
Elements of Costing; introducing costing methods
Working Effectively in Finance; this unit covers how to prioritise workloads and working as a team as well as looking at personal development and work policies and procedures.
?Using Accounting Software; an introduction to Sage computerised software; inputting data and producing reports
How will it be delivered?
You will be assessed by your assessor using a portfolio of evidence, practical demonstrations and assignments. You will be assessed both in College and in your place of work.
Entry requirements
Level 2 Foundation Certificate in Accounting or A level accounts A to C.
