The course consists of eight units each of which gives the candidate a useful grounding in a range of subjects. The subjects you will study are as follows.

Understanding computer systems

Creating digital images

Creating dynamic products using sound and vision

Introduction to computer programming

Exploring computer hardware and networks

Developing control systems

Using ICT to create business solutions

Understanding technology, a project approach

How will it be delivered?

Assessment is by a combination of styles including internal assignments set and marked by the college, and external assignments set by Cambridge National board, and one examination also set and marked by the board.

3 GCSEs grade A*-D plus English Grade 3 or above
