Overview

This course is for you if you wish to further enhance your Level 2 skills and become a Specialist Nails Technician within the Creative Nail Services Industry .

A brief course outline is as follows:

  • Working as part of a team 
  • Retailing
  • Promote a variety of activities
  • Gel
  • Liquid and powder (using an acrylic nail system)
  • Wraps
  • Advanced nail art
  • Airbrushing
  • Electric files

How will it be delivered?

There will be continuous assessment of practical work, both on and off the job, oral questions relating to practical work and written questions. You will also be required to maintain and submit a portfolio of evidence of work produced. Assessments are based on the ability to do the job. There are 24 assessments at this level so commitment, dedication and spare time to practice skills at home are vital.

Entry requirements

•NVQ Level 2 Nail Services

•Students will normally take part in an interview prior to being enrolled on the programme
