This apprenticeship programme gives you the opportunity to gain the skills, knowledge and behaviours within the industry, required for someone relatively new to the hospitality industry.

The programme is delivered in the work place and supported by a tutor and your employer.


A hospitality team member can work in a range of establishments for example, bars, restaurants, cafes, conference centres, banqueting venues, hotels or contract caterers. The role is varied and although hospitality team members tend to specialise in an area, they have to be adaptable and ready to support team members across the business.

You will study industry knowledge, the business and its competition, the people you work with, your customers and how to become first line supervisor/team leader.

You will choose a specialist route to tailor the programme to your individual job role from:
