Overview

Studying this course will enable you to grow as a creative practitioner within your chosen art and design specialism.  You will have opportunities to work alongside professional artists and designers to give you a greater understanding of the creative industry.

Details

The creative sectors you will be exposed to range from fine art, fashion design and textiles, 3D design, photography, sculpture and digital media.

This course will allow you to explore a wide range of traditional and contemporary methods and techniques, alongside a conceptual and theoretical underpinning of your creative practice.  You will be assessed through a range of specialised projects and personal projects from which you will develop your own interests and skill set.


A number of specifications will be changing and prospectus entries are based on information we have to date. This means that course content may be subject to change.

How will it be delivered?

Portfolio and completion of a final project each year.  There are no exams.

Entry requirements

4 GCSEs at grade 4-9 (A*-C) including English + Maths

Your next steps...

The two years on this course will culminate in you building a refined, individual portfolio of work.  This has allowed previous students to successfully pursue higher education and careers in graphic design, architecture, interior design, fashion and textiles, set design, illustration, art technician and art therapist.
