Hospitality services is a level two qualification that is employer approved and cover a good grounding for a variety of hospitality areas such as front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, cookery and hospitality services all leading to employment opportunities. The NVQs are suitable for anyone either in full-time employment or progressing from a Level 1 qualification or those who are able to start a qualification at Level 2. Our aim is to give you the skills and knowledge to enter the industry and contribute with confidence and professionalism. This qualification is tailored to match jobs and can be very diverse


You will study a range of topics including:

  • Food Safety
  • Working with different food commodities
  • Team work and communication
You may also study a range of topics including:

  • Prepare and cook soups stocks and sauces
  • Prepare and cook fish, meat, poultry and vegetables
  • Prepare cook and finish hot and cold desserts
