Overview

This qualification enables you to develop the knowledge and awareness of the types of provision in the Health, Social Care and Children's Young People's sectors.

You’ll have the opportunity to gain an understanding of the similarities and differences between a range of settings, including the roles played by workers in each sector.

The units promote key principles and values including maintaining health and safety, importance of healthy eating, engagement in leisure and social activities and working with others.
