Course Summary

Chefs, bakers and front-of-house staff perfecting the basics, exploring new ideas and creating amazing customer experiences are just some of the reasons we love this industry so much.

There are opportunities to work in pubs, restaurants, hotels, as an independent street vendor and to travel the world.

Course Details

As an Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience in a supportive team developing knowledge, skills and behaviours that will benefit you throughout your career journey. And let’s not forget that you will also receive an industry recognised qualification.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

During your standard you will develop your knowledge, skills and behaviours to ensure your readiness for your End Point Assessment (EPA). To demonstrate this an observation, exam and professional discussion will take place.

You will need to find an employer to employ you as an apprentice.

Individual employers will set the selection criteria for their apprenticeships.

Progression from this Apprenticeship is expected to be chef de partie, first commis chef or senior production chef roles.
