Course Details

Business Level 2

This is a practical and work-related business course. You will learn all about the exciting world of business and also have the opportunity to apply your learning in a practical and realistic way. Throughout your course you will develop a wide range of skills, working practices and thought processes, including IT skills, presentation skills, independent learning skills, teamwork and leadership skills.

T Level in Marketing

This Technical Qualification is for T Level students who are undertaking the T Level in Marketing. The qualification is intended for students who want to progress to a career in the sales, marketing and/or procurement sector. Students will learn the knowledge and skills needed to progress into highly skilled employment, an Apprenticeship or higher-level study, including university, within the specialist area of marketing.

T Level in Financial Services

T Levels are the new technical qualifications that are equivalent to 3 A Levels but include an industry placement of at least 315 hours. This course provides an exciting opportunity to understand the financial markets and banking systems structures. Developed by financial and educational experts, the T Level Finance – Retail and Commercial Banking qualification will help you develop core competences and skills that are required in the financial sector.

T Level in Legal Services

The T Level Legal Services Assistant: Crime, Criminal Justice & Social Welfare is a two-year course designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge needed to pursue a career in legal services. During this two-year qualification, students will study units from a variety of business functions including the fundamentals of law, the business environment and research skills, alongside undertaking a 45-day Industry Placement to set them up for success in their future workplace.


How will it be delivered and assessed?

Business Level 2

A mixture of practical and written assignments, with 2 externally assessed units.

T Level in Marketing

Assessment is by exam and employer set project.

Successful placement completion is a mandatory element

80% of the course is classroom-based learning and 20% is a work placement with an employer in the legal industry.

T Level in Financial Services

Core component: Paper A written examination, Paper B written examination, Employer-set project

Occupational specialism component: Synoptic assignments

80% of the course is classroom-based learning and 20% is a work placement with an employer in the legal industry.

T Level in Legal Services

Externally assessed exams and externally assessed project and practical assessments.

Students will engage in high quality industry placements which enable them to apply their learning in real life situations. These placements will provide learners with the opportunity to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for skilled employment in the business sector.

Business Level 2 - 4 GCSEs at grade 3 or above to include English Language or Maths at grade 4

T Level Legal Services - 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above to include English Language and Maths
