Course Summary

A Study Programme is available for 16-18 year olds that need help to develop their English and Maths in order to support progression into further learning, Apprenticeship or Employment. Learners will work towards City and guilds ESOL Skills for life Speaking and Listening, Reading, and Writing qualifications (Entry Level 1 to 3) as well as functional skills Maths, personal progress, progression preparation, enrichment sessions and work related activities.

Study Programme ESOL is available to anyone aged 16 - 18. English must be your second language.

On top of this you can also apply for financial assistance with our 16-19 Bursary Fund and Free Meals.

Help is available to develop your confidence, personal and social skills, work related activity skills and your employability skills and all this is building towards and supporting your future plans.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

Our Learning Mentors will work with you to complete an initial assessment as part of your enrolment session, with a view of starting at CTS within a week of your initial assessment appointment.

Entry requirements

English must be your second language.
