Course Summary
Our 2-year study programme is a great way of ensuring positive progression towards your career goal.
Level 2 Beauty Therapy is studied in your first year of training.
Attendance is 2 days per week, plus additional days if Maths and English are required (if achieved less than 4 in either). A work placement is also required to gain valuable experience to support your learning.
Course fees are fully funded for 16 – 18 year olds (if aged under 19 before 31st August). The only cost to you would be £420 for the first 2 years, which covers kit and uniform costs and full use of the industry specialist products and resources for both years (£210 per year).
Course Details
The Level 2 Beauty Therapy and Level 2 Complementary Therapies course includes:
o Manicure
o Pedicure
o Facial
o Waxing (Leg, Underarm, Bikini, Lip, Chin & Eye brow)
o Threading
o Eye Treatments (Lash tint, Brow tint, Brow Shape, Individual flare lash & Strip lashes)
o Makeup (Day, Evening & Special Occasion)
o Basic Front of Body Massage
o Zone Therapy
o Pre-Blended Aromatherapy
o Healthy Eating & Lifestyle
o Business Awareness

Entry requirements
A genuine interest in the industry, with a clear career goal and focus.
Acceptance is not based on GCSE grades, however Maths and English maybe added to your timetable if you do not achieve a 4 or above.
Your next steps...
Progression is performance based, with the option to study Level 3 Beauty Therapy or an alternative Level 2 Qualification in the second year.
Dependant on age, you may be entitled to a 3rd year with fully funded course fees. Options are performance based, including an alternative Level 2, Level 3 Beauty Therapy or Level 4 Permanent Hair Removal and Skin Rejuvenation. The only cost to you would be £210.
The Level 3 Beauty Therapy course includes the following:
o Electrical Facials (Microdermabrasion, Galvanic, Microcurrent, Vacuum Suction, High Frequency)
o Body Massage
o Indian Head Massage
o Pre-blended Aromatherapy
o Stone Therapy (Hot & Cold stones)
The Level 4 Permanent Hair Removal and Skin Rejuvenation course includes:
o Provide Electrical Epilation
o Advanced Epilation Techniques
o Laser and Light Treatments for Hair Removal
o Laser and Light Treatments for Skin Rejuvenation
o Management of Health, Safety and Security in the salon
o Physiology of Ageing
o Quality Management of Client Care in the Health and Beauty Sector
