Level 2 Health and Social Care

Whilst studying this course you will learn about the care needs of individuals at different stages of life as well as gaining an understanding of how professionals meet these needs at different life stages. This course will also support you to develop vital skills which you will require to support individuals who have a wide range of needs.

• The Impact of Nutrition on Health and Wellbeing
• Equality and Diversity
• Healthy Living
• Human Body Systems and Disorders

A number of specifications will be changing and prospectus entries are based on information we have to date. This means that course content may be subject to change.

Two externally assessed exam units and five internally assessed assignment units.

At least 2 GCSEs at grade 3 or above, and Maths and English at grade 1 or above

Students from this course have gone on to study the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Health & Social Care, or other Level 3 qualifications such as Education and Early Years.
