Level 2 - T Level Foundation Programme - Engineering

This programme will provide students with the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to progress on to our T Level pathways in manufacturing, process and control, maintenance and installation and repair for engineering and manufacturing. These routes offer specialisms in mechatronics and fabrication and welding.

Students will develop skills for work readiness, access work related activity and gain an insight and core skills which relate directly to various engineering occupations.

Students will complete employer set projects that link directly to the industry and support each student to meet the national technical outcomes for their chosen sector.

Students will benefit from links to our employer partners and gain an in-depth understanding of the various job roles that are accessible to them upon completion of this pathway.

• Develop ideas for engineering products to meet specifications
• Produce sustainable engineered products
• Solve sustainability problems with innovative engineering ideas
• Develop skills in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, fabrication and welding
• Gain an in-depth understanding of the engineering sector

• T Level in Manufacturing, Process and Control
• T Level in Installation and Repair for Engineering and Manufacturing
• Higher Technical Qualification in Engineering (upon completion of a T Level)
• Apprenticeship in an engineering discipline
