Course Summary
Studying the Childcare T Level will enable you to develop core skills and knowledge such as working with others, observation and child development.
The T Level Qualification is split into 2 component parts:
Core Component:
The knowledge and underpinning concepts, theories and
principles as well as core skills for the education and childcare sector.
The Occupational Specialism:
Providing you with knowledge and skills
required to achieve competence as an ‘Early Years Educator’.
Learners will be required to undertake an industry placement in an Early
Years setting for a minimum of 21 weeks (750 hrs).

How will it be delivered and assessed?
Core Component:
• Paper A written examination
• Paper B written
examination
• Employer set project
In order to achieve a grade for Core
Components, students must have results for both sub-components (the core written
(examinations) and the employer set project).
The combined results for these
sub-components will be aggregated to form the overall grade A*,E and U.
Occupational Specialism Component:
• Synoptic Assignments
The student
is also required to successfully achieve a Distinction/Merit/Pass grade in one
of the Occupational Specialism Components.
