Course Summary
The Level 1 Award is a City & Guilds qualification which focuses on the basic practical principles for the absolute novice to build confidence and underpinning knowledge. You should be interested in the Construction Industry and/or developing some home DIY skills, if this is you, then this is the starting point.
Course Details
It allows you to learn, develop and practise the skills required for employment and/or career progression in Plastering.
You will learn how to:
Prepare background surfaces and mix plastering materials
Apply scratch coats to internal backgrounds
Fix sheet materials
Apply floating coats to walls
Apply setting coats to walls
