Course Summary

Have you ever asked why society is the way it is? Or questioned why people interact in modern society in the way that they do? Then you will likely enjoy sociology. Sociology explores how we are shaped and controlled by social institutions such as the family, education, law etc. Sociologists create theories that seek to explain norms and values, human behaviour and the workings of society. Come ready to explore, debate and be self-critical. It is a gateway to Russell Group Universities.

You pose big questions about modern society and enjoy debating
