From September 2024 Qualitas Sport and Staveley MWFC will work in conjunction with VLUK Education in offering B-TEC Level 3 in Sports Coaching at Places for Leisure S8 8JR and Staveley MWFC S43 3JL. All learners around the North Derbyshire & South Yorkshire area can choose preferred site they would like to be based and all Enrichment Opportunities at both sites will be the same.

No other organisation can mirror or match this new exciting opportunity for students. The Football pathway is unique and cannot be matched with 100% guarantee Football development Pathway to Semi Professional Football at Step 6 with ethos of the Football club with statistics proven of Season 2023-24 of young, talented individuals playing in the 1st team.⚽

FA YOUTH CUP participation for 2024 will also be another added incentive for players who want to do well and represent Staveley MWFC in the Youth Cup. This is again unrivalled in the area.⚽

The Qualitas Post 16 Programme is Unique, bespoke and stand alone due the fantastic enrichment opportunities for learners and keen football players.

Studying BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Sports Coaching and Development (equivalent to 3 A levels) - this two-year course is suitable for post-16 students of all playing abilities who have a keen interest in developing an insight into the sport industry.

Alongside the academic studies, where 15 sports related units will be covered, students will train at least 3 times a week and play on a weekly basis, following a full time coaching module delivered by UEFA qualified coaches (all Level 3 and above) with experience and contact in professional football. Players will represent Qualitas in the Regional College League, against Category 3 Academy professional clubs in friendly fixtures, adding to the exciting opportunities and experiences of this course.

The Qualitas model is unrivalled for each player/ learner to gain numerous sporting qualifications across 42 different sports within Qualitas & Places for Leisure Graves..

The Enrichment side of the Programme is unique and unparalleled for a programme of this type. We feel passionately that for a study programme to be successful, learners need access to high quality work placements, as well as an excellent learning environment. Leadership opportunities are available through our 'school games' program. This allows learners the opportunity to be involved in leading more than 50 sporting events spanning across 20 sports, ranging from Football and Netball to Water Polo and Fencing. This unique model is 'AHEAD OF MANY AT SIMILAR AGE' simply because of the enrichment opportunities to gain qualifications and become EMPLOYABLE in the sporting/leisure sector.

Qualitas are passionate about enhancing students’ employability skills, which is why students have access to work experience within Qualitas. There is also the possibility of paid employment with Qualitas Sport, this can range from swim teaching and refereeing to delivering sport/PE in schools. We also have a shared working partnership with Places for People who could also offer paid work, this can range from lifeguarding to fitness instructing.

These enrichment and employment opportunities will provide all learners the chance to develop life skills and coaching experience. Our best coaches started off at 16/17 years of age, shadowing sessions; building communication, confidence, adaptability, organisation and interpersonal skills.

Our 1st Summer cohort from September 2023 have players already gaining experience in other Football environments at Under 18 and Under 21 Level at various Semi Professional Football clubs which include Staveley Miners Welfare FC at Under 18, Under 21 and Central Midlands League appearances. Other players are experiencing Step 6 Football already at local Semi-Professional Level. All players are experiencing a new, unique and quite simply outstanding Football coaching led by FA Qualified Football coaches who are all UEFA B (Level 3) up to UEFA Pro Licence Coach (Level 5). Over the 2 year B-TEC Level 3 course at Qualitas we are adamant that each player will have improved all aspects of their Football ability in both understanding, positioning, movement, ball manipulation and both technically improved and tactically improved.

Leadership and Enrichment opportunities to become employable in the sporting/leisure sector within Qualitas and Places for Leisure. The enrichment side of our Post 16 Programme is unrivalled and no other organisation has access to over 42 sports and 20 different sporting events held across each Calendar year.

UEFA Pro Licence Football Coach delivering daily training sessions and games. No other organisation offers this level of technical and tactical coaching on a daily basis. We have a database of Elite Professional contacts and Semi- Professional contacts and our personal backgrounds have been in Professional and Elite Football environments.

Sheffield Hallam University Higher Education Degree in Sports Business Management and Sports Coaching📚 This bespoke Degree has been designed and implemented by Sheffield Hallam University for Summer 2025. The degree on offer is suitable for all learners on completion of B-TEC Level 3 and open to all individuals in the area.

The yearly Face to Face contact with staff and lecturers at the University is literally on the doorstep of all learners so no travelling afar for Face to Face interaction.

The Partnership with Staveley MWFC will clearly enhance our already unique Post 16 Programme and with Sheffield Hallam University Higher Education Degree on offer from Summer 2025 the Qualitas Post 16 Programme at Places For Leisure and Staveley MWFC will is truly stand alone in the offering of a genuine Semi Professional Football Pathway with the Football club and the unique Enrichment offered by Qualitas Sport. With currently 538 coaching hours per week on offer, 80 staff within the Qualitas environment from Senior Managers, Community Managers, Cluster Managers, Full and part time Coaching staff the area of expertise from staff alike is truly fantastic.
