We offer excellent training opportunities in the centre of Sheffield in the vocational areas of Sport, hospitality and catering, animal care and warehousing Nacro has small, very friendly and supportive centres throughout the country , with opportunities for you to learn English, maths and personal development skills alongside your chosen vocational area. It runs nearly 200 projects, with 1,400 staff and nearly 1,000 volunteers. It directly helps over 50,000 people through its education and employment, housing, resettlement advice, youth and community projects. We are approved to offer qualifications by the following Awarding Bodies: •City & Guilds (C&G, NVQ, Technical certificate) •BTEC •ABC Awards •Oxford, Cambridge and Royal Society of Arts Examinations Board (OCR) •National Open College Network (NOCN) •National Certificate of Further Education (NCFE)

What makes us different?

We have small friendly centre located in the town centre of Sheffield Much of our training appeals to learners who prefer to work in smaller groups or who may have issues around confidence and / or learning difficulties. We offer supportive training to those who want to learn. Generally we have no other entry requirements. We offer the chance for those people who are currently unsure of their future career goals, to try our vocational areas of: Army Preparation, Sports leisure animal care and warehousing As we are a Study Programme provider, also included in your training are: Basic Skills - English and Maths as needed Personal and Social Development - Working on things like confidence, communication skills, nutrition, fitness, budgeting and anything else that may be identified during your time with us.

Additional information

The centre has fully equipped workshops and we have made reasonable adjustments for disabled access. Easy access by all public transport systems. Subsidised canteen with wholesome hot food. We have access to gym facilities that you will be welcome to use free outside your normal training hours. Other activities arranged on an ad-hoc basis
