Rotherham College is part of the RNN Group, a group of education and training organisations which also includes North Notts College and Dearne Valley College.
We have campuses in Rotherham town centre and Dinnington, offering courses, degrees and apprenticeships in a wide variety of areas.
At Rotherham College we specialise in technical and career focused training and education to provide you with the high quality skills and hands-on experience you need for your future career. Our wide range of technical vocational courses and apprenticeships, including Higher Education pathways, will help you develop essential employability skills that will make you stand out in the workplace.
Rotherham College’s Town Centre Campus is the centre of a wide range of subjects including Accounting and Business, Engineering, Fashion, Media, Performance, Photography and many more. We also offer a diverse range of construction courses delivered at our dedicated Construction Centre, such as Bricklaying, Joinery and Plumbing.
Our Dinnington Campus is a specialist centre for Animal Care. It is home to working farm that will give you first-hand experience of working with over 200 animals and 60 different species, including exotic, domestic and farm animals.
No matter which campus you study at, we will prepare you for further study or employment by involving you in challenging projects, practical work experience with employers and the chance to enter regional and national competitions, all supported by training in our industry-standard facilities from lecturers who are experts in their particular field.
You can choose to study from entry level through to Level 3 (equivalent level to A-Levels) before choosing to progress on to Higher Education with us. Your GCSE results (and any other qualifications you have) will determine which level you start at – we’re on hand to help you if you’re unsure.
Alongside your studies, college life is also about making lasting friendships, experiencing new things and most importantly, having fun. Outside the classroom or workshop there are a wide range of additional activities to ensure you get the most out of your experience, which will also look great on your CV.
We’re here to support you with your next step, whether it’s leaving school to get a technical or professional qualification, getting a job, moving on to an apprenticeship or going into business on your own – we’ll make sure you’re fully equipped with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed.
