Introduction to Brickwork Level 1
This course is designed to prepare people to enter the construction industry as bricklayers. You will receive a thorough grounding in the practical aspects of bricklaying, enabling you the opportunity to progress to a trade diploma upon successful completion of this course.

4 GCSEs at grade 2 or above to include English Language and Maths
Please note that you will be emailed a pre-admission task to complete. You must complete this to be invited in for an Information session. You will get two opportunities to complete the task.

Where can it lead?
Complete Level 1 to gain core practical skills and move to Level 2 for more advanced trade training. From Level 2 you can progress to a T Level in a related subject, pursue an Apprenticeship or start building towards higher level study.
Many students move into apprenticeships with local contractors or further study at university-level to become site supervisors, surveyors or construction managers.
A career in bricklaying can take you in many directions, including:
