Course Summary
What is Manufacturing Engineering?
It’s about using science and maths to solve real-world problems and create innovative solutions. In essence, engineering is the art of applying scientific and mathematical principles to develop efficient and effective solutions to everyday problems.
Why study Manufacturing Engineering?
Contrary to common understanding, the Engineering sector continues to suffer from a skills gap and needs to keep up with rapidly developing technologies. BTEC Engineering is designed to give new entrants to the engineering sector the underpinning knowledge and specific skills needed to meet the needs of modern manufacturing Engineering industries.
