This is equivalent to 1 A Level

• Practical Programming

You will study the following four units across two years:

• Unit 1 - Programming Fundamentals
• Unit 2 - Computer Network Security and Encryption
• Unit 3 - Human-Computer Interaction
• Unit 4 - Practical Programming

A number of specifications will be changing and prospectus entries are based on information we have to date. This means that course content may be subject to change.

• Unit 1 and Unit 2 are externally set and marked exams
• Unit 3 and 4 are Pearson set assignment briefs internally marked

5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English and Maths

Students can progress on to industrial apprenticeships in areas as diverse as transport or the NHS. Many go on to study software engineering or computer security at university. You will be well placed to stand out in an expanding industry
