Course Details
Motor Vehicle Accident Repair Level 1
This Level 1 qualification covers the basic technical needs for today’s motor vehicle body and paint industry.
Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Level 1
Theory lessons covering the required technology are classroom based, giving you the opportunity to take notes to aid your studies. Practical lessons take place in the motor vehicle workshops and give you the opportunity to develop the skills needed to pass the assessments.
Vehicle Fitting Level 2
Our course combines classroom learning with hands-on practice to give you a thorough understanding of car systems, tools, and safety.
T level in Electric and Light Vehicles
During the two-year programme, students will develop the core knowledge and skills, alongside industry experience that are all needed for entry into a range of maintenance, installation and repair occupations. T Levels comprise of 80% classroom learning and 20% placement.

Motor Vehicle Accident Repair Level 1
4 GCSEs at grade 2 or above to include English Language and Maths
Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Level 1

4 GCSEs at grade 3 or above to include English Language or Maths at grade 4.
T level in Electric and Light Vehicles
5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above to include English Language or Maths at grade 5 or above.

Start with Level 1 Accident Repair or Maintenance and Repair to build essential skills, then progress to Level 2 qualifications or specialise in Vehicle Fitting or Vehicle Inspection. If you’re interested in the future of the industry, the T Level in Electric and Light Vehicles will prepare you for higher technical qualifications (HNC/HND), Degree Apprenticeships or university-level study in automotive engineering. These courses can also lead straight into Apprenticeships and skilled employment.
